Had a group of 12, and called a few weeks before arrival to get a reservation, and split the group into two groups of 6, which worked out OK. The parking lot was JAMMED at our 5:15 PM arrival, and we quickly figured out why. Our food and service were both very good. The only minor speedbump was one of our diners ordered a wine that got delayed as our server didn't get the order in correctly, and they were then out of that selection. The bartender came over to the table to make it right, but by then she just decided to cancel the order altogether. Great selection of menu items -- I got a lamb burger; very good, but a bit too bready a bun for my liking; could have been solved by more moisture on the burger toppings. Had a bite of the Bison Meatloaf--it was very tasty. Others in our group got a variety of dishes that were good to very good. Service was solid. Vibe is very casual, and it's an active place and a vibrant energy level. Definitely worth a try and great with a group as they have a variety of options--something for everyone.
This place was super busy on a Friday at 4pm and with good reason. Sat at the bar and the staff were so friendly. Explained the restaurant being a scratch kitchen, making almost all the elements in the menu. I ordered a cider, the BGT burger with goat cheese and bacon jam and then the real winner -- peanut butter pie. Highly recommend.
Service was so good we came back two days in a row. The Maui chicken was so good my wife ordered it both days. On day one I ordered the center cut 10 Oz sirloin, cooked the way I liked it and baked potato just butter and fried rice. Day two I ordered the bison burger and the demi glaze was very good. If you're in the area I highly recommend and be prepared for a wait. Good news extensive beer menu and drinks.
Great spot in Pigeon Forge, they said sauces, dressings and 99% of what they serve is made in house. Food was great. Portions were huge. I got the lunch portion cod and chips - it was massive. Decor is a little old fashioned. Service was great. Check it out.
Finally made it to The Local Goat. We had reservations for lunch, but arrived 15 minutes early & was take right in. Our waitress was phenomenal. 1. My daughter ordered the chicken tenders with extra fries instead of slaw. She said they were literally the best CTs she's ever had (& she gets them wherever we go). She'd want to come back just for those. There were plenty of fries on her plate (I'm thinking the extra) however, they brought out another plate of fries. she has to have ketchup for her fries & tenders. Our waitress told us the ketchup was made in house. It was very good with a slight vinegar kick, which I liked. But my 13 year old said was a bit hot for her. 2. I got the fish & chips w/ slaw. Once again, they give you plenty. The breading on the fish was light & airy but I felt it was a bit too greasy. The Cole Slaw was very good & creamy. Plenty of fries & they definitely had enough seasoning/salt. 3. My husband got the shrimp & grits. He did not like them very much. He said the shrimp in the grits was ok, but wasn't a fan of these shrimp & grits. We switched....so, I actually liked them. He didn't like the sauce, mushrooms spinach etc that came on them. I would not get the fish & chips nor the shrimp & grits again but we would come back. We left spending around $73 total (drank water only) including tax & tip. A bit pricey for only being ok food. But I guess selection was our fault. We give our waitress an A+ though. **she did offer something different since he didn't like the shrimp & grits, but I told her I'd eat it, so no need.**
Came here for lunch and the food was amazing. Most of the ingredients are locally sourced, so you are getting fresh items. I haven't been able to come to dinner during my visits to the area but this is worth a stop for anyone visiting. Our server was amazing and the restaurant has a great environment.
We made online reservations in advance. This restaurant fills up quickly, but they also have a quick turn around. The parking lot also gets full quick, and you might need to drive around a few times before finding a space. We had the Wicked Shrimp Pasta, Jackson Hole Bison Burger and a children's burger and fries. All very good! Inside has a calm vibe and it's wasn't too loud. Our food came out rather quickly as well. We loved seeing all the servers work together to fill up glasses and get food out of the kitchen quickly and efficiently.
Had to try out this highly rated facility and was not disappointed. We arrived around noon on Wednesday and they were pretty busy but we got right in. Amelia was friendly and quick to take our drink order. She was also observant and brought me a soda refill before I had to ask . Hubby ordered a Michelob Ultra (as usual) cost was a bit steep, $6 for the draught. We ordered: Shrimp bisque soup - very creamy and delicious with chunks of shrimp. Side Caesar salad - nothing special here Wicked shrimp pasta - a tad spicy and again large shrimp and andoulli (?) sausage pieces. Great combination of flavors. BGT Burger - goat cheese, crispy onions and loads of fries. I had asked for crispy fries and I assume with their busyness it wasn't meant to be. However the fries were still ok. We also ordered a red velvet cheesecake to go and since I couldn't start my review until getting back to the hotel (see below) I had a chance to taste it and it's pretty good. For the above our bill was $85 before tip. A bit much really but the food was good and the service was wonderful. Parking is plentiful so no worries on that and it's a fairly large restaurant so even in busy times there might not be too much of a wait. My one complaint was no Wi-Fi and the Internet is non existent inside. What do they expect us to do....talk with each other!?. Meaning I couldn't start my review until leaving the restaurant. Would I come back? Maybe, but I might try to catch happy hour.
